There is a lot going on in the world in recent times that affect our health thus there is a need for a healthy living/life style with the recent pandemic known as Corona Virus. There is a need to step up our game regarding our lifestyle., so, todays post would look at the concept of corona virus which is gotten from WHO website and the safety procedure and practices to keep us all safe. These 10 measures are what is believed to be help us prevent the virus from spreading more.

From Black death to Corona Virus: A summary of the study of Pandemic/global disease plague And their impact on the society 1800-2019

In 2019, a new strain of virus/ disease was discovered  namely Coronaviruses (COVID 19 ) it is a zoonotic disease  and  causes illness ranging such  common cold, dry cough, shortness of breath, headaches, sore throat, fatigue, aches and pains. The disease can become severe and the patient would have to face Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). Documents shows that it was first identifies Wuhan, China and has spread to South Korea, Italy, Iran, infact almost round the world. Anyways it was upgraded to pandemic by WHO on March 11 2020. That is the more reason why we should practices safe hygene and procedure meted out by health officials and World Heakth Organisation.

Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death. 

There is a need to live a healthy lifestyle in other to prevent the spread so here are the 10 recommendations during  the times of Corona

Wash your hands

  1. Regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing
  2.  Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. Avoid hand shake.
  3. Using Hand sanitizer in the absence of where to wash hands
  4. Drin Plenty water and thoroughly cook meat and eggs.
  5. Maintain social distancing and also andvoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
  6. Good respiratory hygiene and Clean your  phones regularly
  7. If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early
  8. Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow established safety and health procedures, avoid exposing others to health and safety risks such as Using a Mask is also important, but please properly dispose of it.
