LOVE IN THIS TOUGH TIME

As we welcome July let us be determined to make a difference around us. It is a new Month. A fresh start for some and for others the month to continue what they were doing in June,  to achieve goals, plans etc

Everybody in a way is going through problems, some of which are financial, academic, health and marital problems amongst others. Even the globe is going through Global problems such as poverty, global warming, pandemics, debt, insecurity issues, terrorism etc.

What we should hold in our heart and mind is that we need to love. The love that makes us think about what we do before we do them. The love that makes us not destroy trees, which helps the ozone layer to absorb carbon dioxide, love that makes us think about our neighbour. Love that makes us carry out healthy practices , it makes us realize that health is wealth. In summary the Love of God, that makes us love our self despite all the challenges we face. Once we can love ourselves then we can love our neighbours, friend’s, strangers and even our environment.

If you are wondering what type of love or what love can be so strong to help in these tough times. I will simply tell you

A love that is patient

A love that is Kind

A love that does not envy

A love that does not boast

A love that is not proud

It is not rude, but simply polite

It is not self-seeking

It is not easily angered

It keeps no record of wrong doing

This love does mot delight in evil

It rejoices with the truth

It always protect

Always hope

Always persevere (1st Corinthians 13 vs 4-7)

I know you are wondering can one person have all this characteristics. Can this love be real?

Yes this love is real we see it and feel it every day from God. In order words God is Love. So you and I can have this love.

Imagine if everybody exhibited this Love wont the world be a better place. So as you step out be determined to Love.

It is funny that this life is just like a boomerang. What you give or express is what you get most time. if you show hate, anger, you get it back. So why not show love and be loved. Let us all work hand in hand to make the world a better place.
